[Video Interview] Official Hype with MOMENT FACTORY

"Our main goal is to magnify the artist. That's the main thing."

We got the dope opportunity to meet up and talk with Daniel Jean, a producer at Moment Factory. The company is a "new media and entertainment studio that specializes in the conception and production of multimedia environments". Basically, they create a bunch of awesome stuff that's used by touring artists such as Madonna, Arcade Fire, Jay-Z, Nine Inch Nails (and more), tv shows,  as well as creating facades for the city of Montreal and other international events. They're the ones that created Madonna's stage visuals at last year's Super Bowl halftime show and more recently they've managed to make Barcelona's famed "Sagrada Familia" even more amazing with an impressive light mapping show.

When visiting their offices, you can really get a sense of the laid back atmosphere that fills the place up. With the average age of their employees at around 30, the company is filled with young creative people. You get a sense that their employees are happy to be there which is generated by a positive work environment that really enables the studio to get the best out of their employees. We got the chance to talk with Daniel Jean for roughly half an hour in which he clearly confirmed that the creative environment, work culture and team work are elements that forged their overall success.

In the interview, Daniel Jean, explains the work environment at Moment Factory, the type of people and skills needed to work at the company, the goal of their live shows and what motivates the people to do the awesome work that they create. "DJ" as he's know around the studio, has produced multimedia experiences for Arcade Fire (Coachella), The Black Keys (Osheaga) and Jay-Z (Carnegie Hall).
