[Ad] Facebook Print Campaign

After releasing their "Chairs are like Facebook" TV Campaign, the social media giants have decided to continue on that "... are like Facebook" hook for their print campaign which showed up on their page. Each print is accompanied by a text explaining why x object is like their website. This has got to be one of the worst ad campaigns for a multi-billion dollar publicly traded company since the new millenium. This is truly embarrassing and was shocked to discover that Wieden + Kennedy are the people behind this conceptual piece of garbage. I can't wait to try out the new Myspace.

"Birthday cakes are made for people to be together. They give friends a place to gather and celebrate. But too much cake probably isn’t healthy. So birthday cake is a lot like Facebook."

"Halloween gives people a chance to be scary or funny or sexy or, sometimes, a little bit of all three. Halloween lets people express themselves. That is why Halloween is like Facebook."

"Swimming pools are filled with people. Some you know. Some you don’t. And every once in a while you see something that maybe you shouldn’t. That’s why swimming pools are a little like Facebook."
