We got the chance to talk with Is Tropical, who are currently on a north american tour with Crystal Fighters. Dom, Garry and Simon of Is Tropical talk about where they're from, how they choose artists for their "P.S. We Love You" EP, the success of The Greeks, their creative process, working on their new album, getting arrested in Mexico and more.
You should check them out live as their show is a couple of hours of pure madness and entertainment. Unfortunately for us, the Is Tropical show was cut short due to technical difficulties at the venue but from what we heard and were given, it was dope. Fortunately, Crystal Fighters didn't encounter this problem and were able to perform their entire set.
They're currently on the West Coast with shows remaining in Vancouver (May 31st), Seattle (June 1st), Portland (June 2nd), San Francisco (June 4th), Los Angeles (June 5th) and San Diego (June 6th).
