This installation was made mostly with crayons: the effect is pretty impressive. Here's what we can read on the Facebook page of the event that was created to document the evolution of the sculptures under Texas' heat:
“Unwanted Visitor: Portrait of Wildfire,” by Herb Williams, is an outdoor art installation, opening October 7, 2011 at The National Ranching Heritage Center in Lubbock, Texas. The exhibit aims to educate the public as to the causes of wildfire.
