French street artist "JR" won the 2011 TED prize of 100,000$, which is used as a wish to change the world. He will use that money for his next project. JR is famous for his large scale portait photographs that are plastered in cities, villages, slums, etc. He uses a 28mm lens camera so the photos are really up close and personal. He first started doing this during the 2005 french riots. He then continued to do the "Face2Face" project, where he plastered israeli and palestinian faces next to each other. He has put his work all over the world. It's an inspiring talk, with alot more details and explanations for his work, you should most definetly check this out.
