The 2011 Academy Awards were sunday night, it was by far the worst Oscar's that I've seen in my life, and the critics seem to agree. The hosts, Anne Hathaway and James Franco were absolutly terrible. It was bad. The King's speech is boring. Colin Firth is an actor who can s-s-s-tuder...whoop dee fuckin doo. But I must admit, when the show started and the hosts came out, I was intrigued by one thing only. James Franco came on stage with his phone out and was filming his entrance. I thought that was cool and wondered what it looked like to be in his shoes. Oscar's might be 2 hours and 45 minutes too long but 40 million people watch this, no matter how crappy it is, it's still a big deal. Here's the video.
